Everybody deserves to know how to defend themselves and their loved ones. The goal in personal safety is simple: Get home safely every day.

LP Martial Arts is a proud partner of Denton County Sheriff’s Office and its’ Women’s Empowerment Program (WEP). This is a free monthly self-defense workshop taught by Holly Pettigrew; a Krav Maga student and a Youth Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor at LPMA. During this workshop held in Denton, TX, participants are presented with case studies as well as testimonials on assaults and domestic violence. Furthermore, attendees are introduced to fundamental self-defense techniques. Those who wish to further their training will be invited to phase 2 of this workshop on location at our academy in Lewisville, TX, at no cost.

We at LP Martial Arts believe in empowering our Lewisville and surrounding Denton County communities with the mental and physical tools needed to be better equipped when a threat is imminent. Krav Maga is not just about learning techniques; it also encompasses building a strong mindset, cultivating emotional fortitude, and developing situational awareness. Krav Maga is designed to deliver quick and effective responses against armed or unarmed threats using instinctive reactions of the body. This practical self-defense system is accessible to everyone regardless of age or fitness level.

Personal safety is a learned skill and can be sharpened through dedicated training with supportive training partners. We encourage you to participate in the WEP program or contact us directly (https://lpmartialarts.com/contact/) to schedule a trial Krav Maga class and join us in cultivating a community that prioritizes safety, self-confidence, and readiness. Discover the confidence that comes with being prepared. Join our classes, learn practical self-defense, and be a part of a community that proactively values safety and empowerment
